Rize

Rize is located where the where the KaƧkar Mountains reach towards the sea. It has been the home of numerous civilizations throughout history, including Urartu, Sacae, Alexander the Great and the Persians, Romans, Byzantines, Arabs, Seljuks, and Pontic Greeks.
